Overview
Then trip to Naivasha is fun filled. You leave your hotel in Nairobi after breakfast and you will be driven to the Lake side town of Naiavsha. You will have a brief stopover at the view point, to be able to have a magnificent view of the floor of the Rift Valley and the Longonot. Then drive past the longonot crater and in to the Hellsagte. An array of activities can be done here. They include, bike riding, game drives as well as the visit to the gorges in the park
Packed lunch is taken at the picnic site with a great view of Lake Naivasha below. Then leave the park in the afternoon and head to Lake Naivasha for a boat ride to Craters Island for bird watching. Leave in time arriving in Nairobi early evening.
Lake Naivasha is a freshwater lake in Kenya, outside the town of Naivasha in Nakuru County, which lies north west of Nairobi. It is part of the Great Rift Valley. The name derives from the local Maasai name Nai’posha, meaning “rough water” because of the sudden storms which can arise.
