Day 2: Full Day Safari in Serengeti and Return to Zanzibar

Morning: Early Morning Game Drive

  • Pre-dawn Safari:
Begin the day early with a pre-dawn game drive, which is one of the best times to see predators, such as lions and leopards, as well as other wildlife like elephants and antelopes.
The morning light offers a great chance for photography and a more serene safari experience. The guides will take you to areas where wildlife is more active.

Midday: Brunch in the Serengeti

  • Brunch in the Wilderness:
Depending on your itinerary and accommodation, you might enjoy a packed brunch or lunch in the wilderness, surrounded by the stunning Serengeti landscape. Some camps offer “bush breakfasts” or picnic-style meals, which add a unique experience to the safari.

Afternoon: Final Game Drive

  • Late Afternoon Safari:
Continue your exploration of the Serengeti in the afternoon, searching for any wildlife you may have missed earlier. The Serengeti’s diverse landscapes — from riverine forests to grassy plains — provide numerous opportunities for sightings.

Evening: Return Flight to Zanzibar

  • Fly Back to Zanzibar:
After an afternoon game drive, you will be transferred to the Serengeti airstrip for your flight back to Zanzibar (approximately 1-1.5 hours flight time).
You’ll arrive in Zanzibar in the evening, where you can enjoy a relaxing dinner or head back to your hotel to unwind after your adventure
