Overview
This two days safari tour will take you to the incredible Tarangire National Park and Ngorongoro Crater where you will have time to explore wildlife. You will be able to sport animals like elephants, lions, giraffe, antelope and more others within two days. This is something that will give you good experiences. A crater game tour will make you a lifetime memory as inside there are a lot of animals that you can spot. During the safari, you will stay at Karatu Villa.
DAY 1: ZANZIBAR - TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Your Tanzanian safari adventure begins with an early start. At approximately 6:00 am (the exact pickup time will depend on your hotel's location in Zanzibar), a driver will collect you and transfer you to the airport for your 8:00 am flight to Arusha.
You'll arrive in Arusha around 9:15 am, where your driver-guide will be waiting to greet you. The drive to Tarangire National Park takes approximately 1.5 hours. Along the way, your guide will share fascinating insights into the history and culture of Arusha and the Maasai people.
Itinerary:
- Morning: Flight from Zanzibar to Arusha (8:00 am departure).
- 9:00 AM - You'll arrive in Arusha, meet your guide, and transfer to Tarangire National Park. Game drive begins.
- Afternoon: You'll enjoy a packed lunch within Tarangire National Park.
- Late Afternoon (4:00 pm): The game drive concludes.
- Evening: You'll transfer to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
DAY 2: NGORONGORO CRATER - ZANZIBAR
After breakfast at 6:00 am, you will drive to Ngorongoro for an early game drive inside Ngorongoro Crater. The early drive offers the best views of the crater and the most active wildlife.
This park is a UNESCO World Heritage Site, featuring the largest uninterrupted caldera in the world, and is one of the Natural Wonders of Africa. It is home to about 30,000 large mammals, including buffaloes, lions, elephants, cheetahs, and rhinos, as well as many bird species, such as flamingos, eagles, and buzzards. You can expect to see many animals in a short time.
The game drive will end in the afternoon, allowing for a convenient transfer back to Arusha Airport for your 4:30 pm flight to Zanzibar. Upon arrival, your driver will take you back to your hotel in Zanzibar.
